Feeling Stressed?

Stress Management Techniques That Really Work

Natural, effective methods to beat stress and calm

anxiety

Stress is the feeling we get when everything seems to much too cope with.  When faced with a stressful situation, the body responds by increasing production of certain hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline.  These hormones lead to changes in heart rate, metabolism and blood pressure.  Stress affects different people in different ways and we all have different ways of trying to cope with it.

Stress isn't always a bad thing.  In small doses it can motivate you, and help you stay focused, energetic and alert.  However when it gets out of control, stress can have serious repercussions on both your emotional and physical health.  Managing stress is all about taking charge of your life - your emotions, your thoughts and the way you cope with problems that come your way.
